City
Wide PTO Food Drive
The School’s Out Food Drive, organized by CSISD
City-Wide PTO, will be held May 2- 6. Our goal: to rock it
out and help all CSISD schools stock the shelves of the Brazos Food
Bank before school lets out for summer.
We need your help! Donations of food will be collected at each school.
If you are interested in making a monetary donation, $1 equals five
pounds of food. Checks can be written to “Brazos Food Bank” (cash is
welcome, too!).
HIGH PROTEIN FOODS ARE THE MOST IN DEMAND. However, ALL nonperish-able
food is welcome including: rice, corn meal, pasta, dried potatoes,
beans, powdered milk, canned stew, soup, baby food, peanut butter,
jelly, syrup, flour, sugar, cooking oil, mayonnaise, mustard, coffee,
tea, creamer, Kool-Aid, Jell-O, hot/cold breakfast foods, crackers,
canned fruits and vegetables, and juices.
This is a GRRREAT opportunity to do something GRRREAT for our
community's families--especially school children--living in the Brazos
Valley.

Volunteers in
Public
Schools-VIPS
Are
you
interested in helping out at school? We have many volunteer
opportunities. Some require just a few minutes once a year, and
some
that are a weekly commitment. There is room for everyone; our
children
love seeing us at school!
If
you are
interested in volunteering,
please contact our VIPS coordinators - DeEsta
Garrett or Amy Tremblay.
They can
help you find the best way to share your time.

Pawprint Festival News
Whether you are
an individual, a family or a business sponsor, we thank you for your
tremendous generosity. Without your help, this festival would not be
possible. This year's festival earned just over $25,000!
Wow!
We'd also like to say THANK YOU to all of the many Parents, Teachers,
and Staff who generously contribute by supplying books, candy, sodas
and confetti eggs, purchasing and selling festival tickets, and
volunteering your precious time.
We have some awesome festival photos - check them out on our website!

Kroger
Barcode Letter
How To Link Your
Kroger Plus Card
|
Did you know
that Kroger donates $1 million dollars a year to schools in Texas and
Louisiana each year? You can help them by linking your Kroger
Plus Card to College Hills Elementary School. Print out This
Letter. Bring it to any Kroger grocery store the next time
you shop. Give the letter with the bar code to the cashier along
with your Kroger Plus Card. It will link your card to our
school. Everytime you shop there, you will benefit our
school! Even if you have linked your card in the past, you have
to renew your school link every school year beginning in August.

Lost
& Found Thursdays
Are
you missing a jacket? A lunch kit? A sock or a
shoe? Come
check out
the College Hills Lost & Found! It is located next to the
stage in
the
cafeteria. On Thursdays,
we relocate the rolling rack to the main
entrance of the school. We encourage you to come check it out
each week if you
are
missing an item. Please come help to reunite your child with his
or
her lost items! It is so wonderful when the kiddos find their own
things.
